the work. >> in daly city tonight no time to waste. folks are trying to shore up a hillside weakened by a water main break that flooded streets. lyanne melendez has the story. >> reporter: as soon as daylight hit. they begin the job of erosion control, first shoving back mounds of dirt. hay bales to keep the water and debris away from the street and homes once the rain begins. >> we're going to try and sustain it and not create a public nuisance for the neighbors by having more of the muddy water going down the streets. >> this was the scene yesterday in this daly city neighborhood, mud everywhere after a water pipe broke. cars were covered up to their wheels. a few residents were evacuated but eventually allowed back inside. today the department of water and waste resources crews are clearing mud. they want to divert the water into the storm drain. it will help clear the rain of debris. >> if there is something we need to be worried about, they would tell us. they didn't tell us anything yesterday so we think we're safe for now. >> i'm concerned about the park. we have had a beautif

month. investigators they arrested a 19-year-old nicolas hudson from daly city. police wants you to to take a good look of other suspects. one man accused of using a skateboard. this is man is being charged. here are the photos i want to show you. this man is accused of using a skateboard to smash out the bus windows. there you see it as it happens. here is one more person police nto talk to. they say he used a barricade to damage the windshield of the bus. bus driver was able to get all of the passengers off safely. it happened a few weeks ago after the giants won. >>> a suspect who was tased is suing the city of martinez use for excessive fce. police insist the video doesn't tell the whole story. >> eric gilson says police cars came out of nowhere and surrounded his vehicle. he says officers rushed him with guns drawn. >> the officers began shouting commands at me. there were several officers and shouting commands. >> he had no idea what was happening. he would learn later that his wife filed a domestic violence complaint. >> they told me to raise my hands which i did and they

of miscommunication. a young boy who was reported missing is now back home in daly city. and it turns out he didn't even know he was missing. amber lee tells us how police found this little boy. >> reporter: police tell us they used every resource available to find this little 11-year-old boy. he was found near palocita school at 11:00 p.m.. we went to the home of the boy. while we were speaking to the family, police called to tell us that the boy had been found and that they were trying to locate the father. when we told police we were with the family they asked us to let us know he was safe. >> police just found him. >> really. >> they just found him and they are going to call you any minute now. >> hello. >> mr. ren handed the phone to his stepson when detectives called because he doesn't speak english. >> hi, hi. okay where? >> reporter: in mandarin, the father thanks police. the boy's stepbrother says he is relieved. >> very happy right now. >> we caught up with father and son after they were reunited with each other. >> how are you doing? >> good. >> where did you go? >> to my friend's hous
